Achieving an Indoor Tan
Regular tanning is important if you wish you build a tan. Don’t go too long between sessions or your tan will begin to fade during that time. You can tan up to once every 24 hours, but most will recommend waiting at least 48 hours before you return for another tanning session, in order to allow your tan to fully develop. A suggested frequency to build a tan would be three to four times a week. After you have a tan, in order to maintain it, the suggestion would be two or three times a week.
Usually, results will be noticeable after a few tanning sessions, but it may take weeks of regular tanning for you to get the desired color tan. If you are going on a trip and would like a base tan, you should begin tanning probably three to four weeks before you leave.
